Due to COVID19, all of our efforts are being focused on keeping our Caregivers healthy. The well-being of their children depends on it! This is being carried out through grocery deliveries, diaper/toiletry deliveries, along with ZOOM monthly support groups. We are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of Caregivers during this pandemic, and we are using all resources available to this end. If you would like to help or contribute to this effort or if you are a Caregiver with needs, please call us at 360-726-2748 or email at info@kinshipconnection.org. Stay Safe!

COMMUNITY CONNECTION:

Support Groups via ZOOM:

Twice a month we connect through ZOOM to have a safe space to share needs and encouragement. Email info@kinshipconnection.org to have the link sent to you! The meetings are the 1st and 3rd Fridays at noon and the 5th Mondays at 7pm.

Training:

Trauma Informed Trainings - Caring for children can be overwhelming, and new information is available on how best to handle children who have been through trauma. Research proves that all kids who have been removed from their biological parents have experienced trauma, even if removed at birth. Contact us to be notified of upcoming trainings.

Free Online Tutoring:

Kinship Caregivers and their kids can be supported and encouraged in the journey of home education through people in the community who are skilled in a particular subject, especially during the season of online schooling. Fill out this form https://forms.gle/zaofZXSU6tZ8tyKx6 if you need anything for schooling at home.

Weekly Deliveries During COVID19:

Every week Kinship Connection makes deliveries to help fill the need gaps for caregivers and their kids. If you need groceries, baby items, clothing, or other items, please fill out this form https://forms.gle/mknus2gqqTxGZVhZA.
